PROGRAMA LOS NUMERO 10- 9º Sesión

Recién llegada de Nueva York, la crítica y prestigiosa curadora argentina Ana María Battistozzi realizó hoy la 9º sesión del Programa "Los Número 10" en ´ace. El programa se ha venido desarrollando durante todo el año y terminará en el mes de diciembre con Rodrigo Alonso, el último curador invitado del año 2009. El año 2010 traerá interesantes novedades en este programa que ya se ha instaurado en el medio (en la foto Ana María a la izquierda con una de las artistas asistentes a la clínica de obra). Just coming from New York City, Ana María Battistozzi (the Argentine art writer and prestigious curator) was doing critiques in ´ace within the "Number 10" Program. The Program has been happening during the 2009 year and will conclude with Rodrigo Alonso, the last invited curator, in December. 2010 will bring interesting news to this program which is already set in the Buenos Aires artistic community (Ana Maria pictured at left with one of the Argentine artists attending the critic).

Javier Martín-Jiménez (el joven director e ideólogo del festival) mostrando las servilletas intervenidas por el colectivo La Más Bella quién, a través de su propuesta Lo mejor de esta casa: el cliente, invitó a 6 artistas a intervenir dos objetos tan originales como cotidianos: las servilletas de papel y los sobres de azúcar ("zucarillos" en España) de bar. Se imprimieron 210.000 servilletas en serigrafía con las imagenes de 6 diferentes artistas, que en juegos de 3 y durante el transcurso del festival, se introdujeron en más de cien cafeterías y restaurantes de la ciudad como pequeñas y efímeras obras de arte.  Este proyecto está dentro de Ingráfica 09 bajo el nombre de Ingráfica Transversal, un concepto destinado a abrir el festival a la ciudad incentivando la participación ciudadana.

Javier Martín-Jiménez, Ingrafica's ideologue and young director, showing printed napkins samples taken over by La Mas Bella artistic group. Its project "The best of this place: costumers" invited 6 artists to make interventions onto two objects as original as well as domestic: paper napkins and sugar packets ("zucarillos" in Spanish fron Spain). 210,000 napkins were screen-printed with drawings from 6 artists, which in sets of 3 and during the course of the festival, were introduced in more than a hundred coffee places and restaurants in town as small and ephemeral artworks. This project is within Ingrafica 2: International Print festival under the name of Transversal Ingrafica, a concept designed to open the festival to the city by encouraging civic participation.

MONOTHON 2009

Se viene la MONOTHON2009!!! Por primera vez y mediante un convenio con el Center for Contemporary Printmaking en Connecticut, Estados Unidos esta maratón de monotipos se realizara en los talleres de 'ace los dias 2, 3 y 4 de Noviembre bajo la dirección de la Master Printer Adriana Moracci. Los artistas participantes expondrán su obra en Estados Unidos durante diciembre.

MONOTHON2009 is coming! For the first time and through an agreement with the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Connecticut, USA this marathon of monotypes will be held in ' ace's workshop November 2,3 and 4 under the direction of Master Printer Adriana Moracci. Participating artists will exhibit their monotypes in the United States in December.   

Taller de fotolitografía y litografía sin agua

Adriana Moracci y Valeria Zamparolo dictaron el taller intensivo de fotolitografía y litografía sin agua. El grupo de participantes compuesto por artistas de Argentina y México fue maravilloso y los resultados fueron muy fructíferos.

Tatjana Bergelt - Artista en Residencia

Tatjana Bergelt (Finlandia) realizó una residencia artistica fenomenal. Hubo espacio para todo: para el trabajo, para las risas, para compartir sobre las diferentes culturas y para la familia! Un placer conocerte Tatjana!

Florencia Braga Menéndez - Los Número 10

Durante el 17 y 24 de Septiembre, Florencia Braga Menéndez estuvo realizando clínica de obra en ´ace. Dos intensas jornadas de curaduría. Gracias Flor por la onda y el esfuerzo!

Bruno Patyn estará durante esta semana trabajando en pruebas de litografía waterless a color en múltiples planchas.

CIAO ALEKSANDRA!

Ultimo día de la residencia de Aleksandra. Olá (su diminutivo en polaco que no usamos porque suena como hola) se ha ganado un lugar en el ranking de los mejores artistas residentes de 'ace: muy profesional, amable, creativa, con una habilidad innata para pronunciar palabras en español y siempre interesada en aprender más sobre nuestra cultura. Aleksandra le puso el pecho al 152 y al tren Línea Mitre y se movió por la ciudad como una porteña más. Te vamos a extrañar!

Last day of Alexandra's residency. Olá (her nickname in Polish  that we did not use because it vsounds like "Hello" in Spanish!) has earned a place in the ranking of the best artists in residence: very professional, friendly, creative, with an innate ability to pronounce words in Spanish and always interested to learn more about our culture. Aleksandra was brave enought to take the 152 bus and Mitre Train line moving through the city like a porteña. We'll miss you!

Víctor dedica su libro de poemas "Perfume y secuencia de mujer" a Charito Estrada. Aleksandra recibe un gran ramo de flores, atrás el trovador Ariel Díaz escucha las presentación de Alicia.
